MAX-730D Optical Time Domain Reflectometer

 The 700D series, based on a lightweight, portable, and durable platform, is an entry-level OTDR that draws on tablet design for reliable performance. It features a 7-inch outdoor-enhanced touchscreen for a convenient user experience. It also comes with an intuitive Windows-like GUI, making it user-friendly and efficient. Additionally, it employs an OTDR environment that offers icon-based functions, quick startup, an automatic macro bend locator, and enhanced automatic and real-time modes, suitable for metropolitan area networks. It is optimized for testing through splitters, enabling end-to-end FTTH qualification and fiber fault troubleshooting.

Equipped with a lithium battery offering up to 12 hours of battery life, it ensures worry-free operation. It provides plug-and-play hardware options such as a Visual Fault Locator (VFL), power meter, and USB tools, making technicians' work easier.

 The 700D series incorporates an OTDR-based intelligent application, iOLM (Intelligent Optical Link Monitoring). This iOLM software simplifies complex trace analysis with just a single click.

 The 730D PON/Metropolitan Area Network OTDR is optimized for testing through splitters (capable of testing up to 1x128), ensuring end-to-end FTTH measurements. Moreover, it offers multiple optional dynamic ranges and various selectable test wavelengths. The 1650 nm band with live testing functionality allows efficient testing of live networks without affecting other customer signals.

The 730D can be managed through security options, where administrators can define and load tamper-resistant security profiles, display property messages on the main screen, and protect them with user passwords (permanent or renewable).
